FORHD
is a registered wholly Charitable Trust approved by the
Government of India vide No. DIT(E)80G/154/2001-02
The FORHD team consists of a host of dedicated social
workers, NGOs and corporates guided by a team of
trustees who have excelled in their field.
L. Revannasiddaiah (62) : Presently Chairman of
the board of trustees of FORHD is the former Police
Chief and Head of the Prison Administration, reforming
offenders and empowering their dependents to pursue
honourable living. As advisor to Karnataka Goverment,
he streamlined the mid-day meal programme benefitting
five million primary school children.
Dr. Taj Showkath (50) : Presently
Vice-Chairperson of FORHD and Honorary secretary, Al
Ameen Women's Wing, active member of Sarvodaya
International, State Wakf Foundation for Women
Development etc. Working for health, education and
upliftment of slum dwellers for the last two decades.
Sr. Carmelita (70) : A trustee of FORHD, a former
teacher at St. Lourds and dedicated missionary working
under prison ministry, has enlivened the lives of
countless slum dwellers, prisoners and their
dependents. Currently working as the whole time friend,
philosopher and guide to the inmates of the Central
Prison, Bangalore.
V.R. Mani (65) : Venkata Raghavachari Mani
currently, finance controller of FORHD is a former
official of Reserve Bank of India. Has thrown open his
home to make a home for the children of prisioners
providing shelter, food and education under the banner
of 'So Care Ind'.
Mrs. Vinoda Revannasiddaiah (52) : Trustee of
FORHD. A dedicated teacher and an artist of eminence
specializing in painting. Has inspired and contributed
to enhance self esteem among the youth hailing from
rural areas and weaker sections. |
